Texas Couple Sentenced to Over 21 Years in Federal Prison for Methamphetamine Trafficking


Gulfport, Miss. – Alfonso Fonty Jaimes, 37, and his wife, Maria Teresa Duarte Godinez, 29, both of Bastrop, Texas, were each sentenced yesterday by Senior U.S. District Judge Louis Guirola, Jr. to 262 months in federal prison, followed by 5 years of supervised release, for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
