Jackson, MS — The Mississippi Republican Party (MSGOP) endorses Jeff Weill for Court of Appeals, District 4, Place 2.
The Court of Appeals is a 10-judge panel of Judges which hears appeals from lower courts, including Chancery and Circuit Courts. The court is made up of two judges from each of the five judicial districts in the state. The 4th district includes 15 counties: Adams, Amite, Copiah, Covington, Franklin, Hinds, Jefferson Davis, Jones, Lawrence, Lincoln, Marion, Pike, Simpson, Walthall and Wilkinson.
“Judge Weill brings a wealth of civil litigation experience and has a proven record of effectively implementing the law,” said MSGOP Chairman Lucien Smith. “I am confident that Judge Weill will promote a fair and efficient justice system that will serve Mississippi well.”
The election for Court of Appeals District 2, Seat 4 will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
